40 X

At this point I thought
I'd have more figured out
about myself
and you.

But I hesitate to say that
for fear you'd consider yourself
an enigma.

No, you'll never see my heart breaking.
Oh, it breaks on the inside,
but you'll never see it breaking;
only broken.

I read the story of Calypso
and considered the cruel irony in it
with you and I.

And I can't bare the role,
no I can't bare the role
of destroyer.

XL Day (Oct. Contest)

When talking about the day's measure
I think of it as an X-Large deal,
for it holds in all the treasure;
the intuitive passion that I feel.

I think of it as an expanded well
with a rich spring that never dries,
for it is getting its utmost fill
from precious and so dear eyes.

The day's the bloom and the devoted bee,
that stick together then never part.
Whenever you're around I see
the world of elation that fills my heart.

~

stars fill the eternity of nite
a blue black feeling rides
the companion of my heart
I know this landscape
these roads
I was shown
How we shone then
the brief story
like a single day

the radio hisses
the signal lost
in the deep of
dream I shall
turn and toss

mote of light
rests on the
pooled jeweled
ideal
wet with emotion
flicking the sights

like little whips
the memory of the
coaster
streaming

CIRCADIAN RHYTHM

The whole world drips this autumn day
like tears shed for a life gone by,
for times and folks now gone away.
I watch the steady rain and sigh.

There are no shadows on such days
yet memories hide everywhere,
amid dull monochromatic grays,
behind old trees now turning bare.

And like a phantom I pass through,
damp leaves quiet beneath my feet
each step revealing a new view
backed by the rainfall's steady beat.

Voices Of The Heart

In the whispers of the passing wind
which sails across a new frontier,
beyond the things that you have seen,
my soul is there, it's always near.

When the little flowers bloom anew,
their colours paint the world we know
as they're touched by the morning dew,
I"ll remember how you helped me grow.

Will I see and hear from you again
or will fate snatch you away from here?
The answer eludes me, my friends
but even if you go, I'll still hold you dear.

Hi danglers

I do not know
whether you have read this before...
But am aware
and
make gals take care...

that since guys see theirs dangling and hanging...
all day...
they want to with it play...
and
don't care who they address...
a man gay
or woman may...
in different congress...

Desk drawn

Is is snowing? raining? wolves on the lawn...
the aircraft coming in on their approach
behind the picture window.. I can see
them too from where I sleep...
in fall the window open just a peep...
Love the sounds of the city at night

Beauty and The Beast

Wished you'd read the expressions,
heard the sighs and deeper moans;
felt the surge and spasms
of ecstatic waves
teasing the shores

instead

you were consumed
by the tidal wave of lust
crashing the shores
in a momentary illusion of ecstasy
wetting the shores with a frothy mess

Before I turn away

I'd like to say a few written words
looped and malformed as they are
marooned on the page

illegible, they run to indelible
tangle on the tongue, then tangible
become

they can't be taken back now, undone-
soon I will go to the page and learn forms
and discipline new,

and tried and tied nomenclature of
nominated sages in ages
where everyone grew

and I will till the form like loam soil
and in the proper way - do,
or so I am told

dear cush

It may look so bad
So critical and sad
But then non harm is done here
Being around you is perfect

Your the beck bone of life
A chip from auto space
A shooting star in my night
A mango tree in blossom season

You are the joy of my life
The lips of what I want to have on mine
Tinny hands as those of a kid
Cute face as for a toddler
Pretty astonishing you are
So short but amazing
