Fireworks

bursted in through the door giddy
we stank of fireworks
High watching them
over the shore

threw on a vinyl record
danced sloppily
kissed badly
and made love
on the horsehair
chaise lounge
Old..people of this
era rode horses
for miles..
three hours later
we were sated

fell asleep on
the waterbed

Political Analysis Of The 2016 Australian Federal Elections

Damn your eyes
blast your souls
fuck you all
big and small
you're a pack of bastard shits
should be chopped in little bits
and fed to dogs and hogs.

You blame those of different skin
those who pray to different fictional friends
when just a quick mental look
or, shock horror, read a book
will reveal it's just a ruse
and an excuse
to not see whose blame it is
that you are slaves.

Moonlight Gossamer

Argent arrows of the night
throw silver tips right
into ice-glass shards
of gossamer gleam

The shape a silver ship
a lovely thing to carry
my dreams

A formation of ranked threads
so delicate a mere tread
would sever so silky a squadron
framing a midnight tableau

Alone moth- moonlight gossamer
breaks ranks
flutters the sheer scene
willing a wisp woven
anew

V e l v e t S t a r r

everythings drenched
the overhangs are
cascading the storm
off their backs
even the tentacles of wires
seem slumped with the
effort

Red Neon
like blood spilling down
the drains
poster eyes run like
vivid ghosts

four months the
snows will walk
from the sacred
mountians and
cover all this shit
turning it too postcard
pastels
coffee shoppes
and saki bars with
novella's

The mirror of time (Reviewed)

Look into the mirror of time
one may feel quite sublime
it’s the same mirror
for everyone all the time
yes very much like sweet lime
vibrating
lovely chimes
the mirror alone smiles
you may also if you wish

Far in the distance
I see myself
roaming almost naked in the wilderness
as if I were to be born today
as my mom if alive would say

but that occurrence is now distant away
in memories of love alone most do stay

from the edge of the glitter

falling into
the eve
sinking too the sound of water
the fan turning air
waterfall of dreams

"talk too me!"
I'm mute
buried in silence
lullabyes and fairytales
I can do the voices
I clamor about the bed
but today Im
beneath the waves

the visa has run out
time for her to leave

one last story
listening to rain fall
steady
a nights drizzle
lights sparkling off
rain drops dancing
in the dark

Where have I gone?

This person in my body
isn't me,
not sure the body's mine either
come to think of it,
it seems so much bigger
than it used to be.
I look in the mirror
and often despair
at the face looking back
with a serious stare.
But it's not just the ageing
that makes me sigh
it's the where have I gone
over years flown by?
The essence of me
seems weak, diluted
my strength's been sapped
and my soul's been muted.
Where have I gone
and what's become

My Reality

Lost in my mind state
Wondering what role time plays.
My patience is weak,
Endangering my complacency.
Though conquering this, the fate I see
Is being unchained
Instead of playing this gun game;
Shooting myself in the foot,
Making the excuse, I'm misunderstood.
Not the path I need to walk.
I'm strong enough to lead, not fall
For the thesis
I'm as sick as my secrets.

The Music Of Silence

I close my eyes and at once its mute echo chimes
I listen and interpret the lush lilting lyricism of nature's sultry emerald chanteuse
As the chorus of everyday cacophony subsides a subtler sonnet is crafted
And upon the lyre of thoughtful psyche a cord profound is struck

AT TWILIGHT edit

AT TWILIGHT

When the lights begin to dim
and you sense your end is near
you weep from unfathomable
depths within where daemons
of darkness dwell.
memories are locked in a circle
of painful longing, and like a child lost,
you cry out for the womb that held you
