Live in only ...... thanks edit

Deprivation
is the manure
for serious poets
as real poetry emanates
from all man kind

I often wonder
why marry
when two can raise
a progeny ..
through
boy and gal friends
conveniently

many end up
in divorce

you may live in
have sex of course
with no remorse

share the kids
equally
in any case
they separate at
eighteen
eventually

why restrict their lives
let them live in
with their
gals and guys

Autumn Day Poetry

Falling leaves;
Autumn scenes;
Cool fresh air;
Through my curly hair.

Trees hung low;
Bearing golden apples
The size of plums;
On the ground below.

I thought they were simeons
Like belly buttons;
Dimples pierced the bottom;
The cool breezy autumn.

His Anger

Once again,
I find myself staring into the expressionless face of his.
Like television white noise accompanied by a static screen.
The anger rolling off his tongue,
the words come like the ocean tumbling into the shore,
after each wave the tide is pulled back in,
just to take a breath,
before crashing back with more aggravation.
His leg begins to drum as he sits,
A rhythm to his anger,
a chant, even.
The red cape to a bull.
The drum beat quickens,
clenched fists
thudding feet
cracked knuckles

~Gloss~

Rimbaud
was gay
Morrison a wretched drunk
Sexton suicidal

in their world
excess and reviled
from their minds
came Gloss
and Matte
delirious definitions
scewed out spewed
out the painful intricate
art the words

Memories

Memories

Written by: Mario Vitale
In columns of grain spoiled the base

Through traverse memories in equated pace
With vanquished triumph to exploit
A challenge to be free is a question in time
Every verse in the bible is an index to Jesus

Some say we our intollerant people don't like you
Yet who are they a whole pile of wood spent in trees?
Here I am Lord is it I Lord?
They have selected hearing
An indifference in the church for God hates apathy
God dislikes indifference

God dislikes indifference

Sin

Sin

Written by: Mario Vitale
Anguish taunts through a barbed wire fence with edged grasp

Actions in which human beings rebel against a holy God
Miss their purpose for their lives
Surrender to the prince of the power of the air more then God
Cause all of their deeds were evil!

Shattered
An eclipse of the sun had tainted my inner vision
Push back the pain with radiant guide
Does this notion in thought come at any big surprise?

Brown book
pages shorn
slipping free
a stream
in puddles of
reflection
Pain bending
winces like
the wink of thermo
stars
tiny dancing daggers
a breeze is getting
your chapter
twisting beneath
the dark shadows
of the rolling cars

Dog eared emotion
chapter twenty still
reeked
like cold gusts
shaking this

Give Me Shelter From The Storm

Give Me Shelter From The Storm

Written by: Mario Vitale
With faces in the window having storms in the night

You gave me promises they gave me pain
When will we ever live to understand this game
Give me shelter from the storm within cause we may never live again
In shattered dreams brought through its timely theme

Many are still wandering alone in the darkness of night

A plate of desire poured out with a creme sauce of desolation

Pearls in Paradise

I have always love pearls
The reason is for they go with anything
You wear will look pretty good and make
Me feel good and deep inside of my heart
The heavenly love of pearls that shine bright
As I wear pearls that remind me of my loved ones
Who have passed away and how much I miss them.
Pearls are like apart of me as I have comfort to
Know they are with me in through my pearls.
A paradise city where I live in brings me hope
To overcome in my head the reality that God has given

Smiles

I have traveled the earth
for miles and miles,
and found things little worth
warm friendly smiles.

Over strange foreign lands
by great lakes and deep seas,
always are welcoming hands
with kind smiles to please.

It's the language of the universe
be you brown black or white,
and translates in rhyming verse
in bright day and dark night.

For a smile is sweetly made
of understanding so kind,
seeking congenial trade
and can be seen by the blind.
