The Hexagon Of Unexpectedness

Una learned
the word
"upskilling"

It's used in
conversations
fortelling
improvements around
here!

Can a word be stupid?

The office 'facilitator'
looks very satisfied
with the introduction
of the new
word...

This, coming from
the same man
who used a white-board
to illustrate
'The Hexagon Of Unexpectedness'

Una thinks he looks
far too pleased
with himself

"He's really started to
offcheese me now"

Con cockshun

Your beautiful prayers
answered
SILENTLY
by the
wilderness
eternity...

This road shows
the calmness about
all human thought

where this road will lead one
no one knows
that's all what life is about

we move on
drag our feet
till towards
the end we do meet

HICKORY STIX

'Grey Goose's in the fridge babe!, help yourself'
got the same tight grey Yoga pants on
bathed in the glow of the telly
some adventure show
not sure...sci drama/
my slicker is dripping rain
settling the dust..shes got a vacum
i'll run it in a few days
kicked my dress shoes off
her wind breakers hanging in
the closet..
outside cabbies cruise past
the light bubbles atop the dark
rides streaming color through
the cut glass in the old victorian
door..

Alone With Silence

Alone With Silence

Someone built four walls, to keep me inside,
Someone gave me a mask, so I could hide,
And no one showed compassion, and they never wiped my tears,
And no one asked about my dreams, or even fears

I'm alone with silence again,
But please Lord help me find that friend,
That will guide me and bring me in,
From the world of trouble and sin

Rash Vow (Jephthah's daughter)

Towards his home, in triumph, Jephthah strode:
with faith and pride a soldier's broad heart leapt.
His daughter sprang with love that overflowed
-- played timbrels as she danced: her father wept.
He ripped his clothes, then dropping to his knees:
" Why did I have to volunteer that oath?"
"My daddy, don't be sad, I beg you please
-- your promise to Jehovah binds us both."

We all return in another form

I am a creator of my own
version and vision
and unique creation
words unknown to modern generation
some may be my own creation
but natural

When I read Shakespeare
yearszzzzzzzz (no not snoring,) ago
I reproduced
''MACBETH''
to the very last word
in Cambridge exams
in two and a half hours
and
earned laurels ...

Thanks to the fairness of mind
of instructors then
who were a Gold mine
may be like heavenly divine.

TRAILBLAZERS

To every one of us shall come
that time of final leaving,
a return back where we came from.
Should this bring joy or grieving?

For the path is marked and clear
by all we know who've gone before,
the old ones who were close and dear
now behind that mystic door.

And once we, too, reach leaving's end
we'll join with those who once were cleft,
with brothers,fathers, grandsires we'll blend
nevermore to be bereft.

Memory's hell

It is the unknown that I fear,
when real misery hits so near,
the fear to walk a corridor,
then coming back will be no more.

When memory's cells have to smear,
it is the unknown that I fear.
I fear the feel; the utmost pain
of getting brain's cells off to drain.

Anonymous spots now surround,
the waves of deafness echo the sound.
It is the unknown that I fear,
when everything 'round starts to queer.

IF ONLY ALL KNEW

Lovely nature is
and
sleep you will
and
this is what beauty of nature is

just see and stare at it
Very beautiful

We come from nature
we also return
back to it

then we merge
and
submerge

newer ones eventually
as new ones emerge

human life
does never converge
it just does
continue to surge

From a couple
male and female

Millions of years ago
we have so many now
all know

7.5 billions WOW
more to add on

The Sick Child (after Randall Jarrell)

The mystic moon, blushing,
unfurls as a flower; a pinch

of green light fills the room.

Blue wicks cinched in dilated flame;
a weak cough is heard. Small eyes

open on

the deranged maroon rays, he blinks
in diced cataracts, prism hues bent

in a drooling Christmas filigree;
a blur fever, the truck moves in candy

colors, and he is hushed, quiet
in doldrum processions

of black and gold.
