One Carnation

There is a fox hole in my backyard.
Foxes come there every spring.
When their kits grow older they leave
and I do not know where they go.

My land is on the slope of the hill.
Birds and rabbits have hard time walking on it.
Even snakes slide sometimes.
Squirrels move sideways using their front paws
to hold to the branches of mounting shrubs
sparsely growing among boulders.

Butterfly just flies

Well sad this happens to be
your last post here
on Neo

No money I believe
but what is money
it’s the sweat of the brow
it comes and just goes
simply wipe it out

I compose for the love of humanity
many still come to my gate
as I have shed my vanity
my weight

We all must entertain the masses
I feel
if we have the torch and seal
of a lover’s beauty

Spirit World

The Library.

There coming into view
the great library of learning
the inside walls moved
with rainbow fire burning

There rows of books all glowing
these are filled with forever
Try, I heard, in mind flowing
to feel or see their knowing

think a book that you would read
It can only be of past or now deeds
All books are here to choose
Old stories and past written news

The future though written,
Is not to be, for us to see
I thought for a while
Of what book would I read.

So Hand me your Soul and your Love.

And I don’t believe in second chances
or quiet Sunday afternoons.

And I don’t believe in the record player, chipped,
in the corner of your scattered room.

And all of this, oh yes, this all
feels far away from me, from you.

Yet still I believe in honesty
like the girl in the loft with the musical words
that floated forth like whispers into the street-light spectrum
of another brink of night.

Yesterday Almost

I call my house from a cellphone.

I’ve just seen a girl in an empty parking lot.

We used to think something of each other,

if she’s the right one. I call to check

on the pots and pans, I wonder if the shadows

are the same on the wall. To think; at one

time, it was a real question once

whether the party went on without me,

or the toys moved when I was somewhere

else wondering about them. It was the same

question with this girl who walks in circles now;

I wondered if her shadows were the same.

Moderna Malady

Today’s Malady
Narcissism they say
is the malady today

WORLD WIDE
suffer many personae
you could be one inn your own field to
I was only an egoist sufferer of an Ego- Cancer

narcissism is worse today
specialists say
then what do such guys display

do hear silently
don't them betray

they need sympathy why
coz

What do you see when you look at me?
Do you see that I am magical and beautiful?
How quickly do you see my imperfections, flaws, and scars?
The ones on my skin, below the surface
my heart has bandages and stitches.
What do you see when you look at me?
The epitome of hope and resiliency
Are you evaluating and analyzing how I am a risk, asset, or liability?
Are you waiting for an opportunity to call out my next mistake?
Do you see my potential, my wonders, my victories, my complexities?

WATER IS LIFE

An enemy of none.
Like a fountain dispersing
All around ,side by side.
The pure liquid ,
That gives birth to life.
My heart is craving,
My spirit need more.

Only a drop can save a life,
Even a little wet gives hope.
The an arthropod wants most.
Like an infant see it ,
Cries until it’s given to him.
Through the door of a soul,
It saturate and be sustained.
For water is life.
