GREEN VALLEYS

These hills and ridges I've been on
over all these lengthy years
have taken a heavy toll on me
with their beauty, joys and tears.

And today I finally looked ahead
at yet another harsh steep trail
wondering how much longer it might be
before hips and legs would finally fail.

Then by chance my gaze turned down
to a valley where a river flowed
slowly through more gentle lands
where rich green crops are grown and mowed.

Silence

How much one can write
about grief, about pride?
I focus on silence.

I am a poet of Mundane,
of Nothing that take place
every moment, goes on,
unrolls into a lazy carpet of days
embroidered with noise,
granules of paint, sand,
droplets of water.

Later it grows into a song,
a painting, a fortress or waterfalls,
a novel, a jewel, a castle, a storm
or none of the above.

The Staircase

I was daydreaming,
of shadows on the staircase,
of when the day ends,
shadows creeping
up the stairs,
most staircases make noise,
particularly the old and elegant masterpieces,
whose boards have been
replaced more than three times,
those relics
have served many lives,
supporting bare feet
in anticipation
of a new life,
or a warm bed and a kitten,
staircases are like life,
where choosing the first step,
is important.
It is not wise to miss the first step,

The Extra

I’ve traced the ellipse his walking often forms
the stepsounds that follow him to the river

There are short films which feature
noise clusters in stadiums
built with sugar angels

In his strip booths
male torsos hanging from reel to reel tape,
a millisecond’s gloss for some shady producer.

It is useless to pursue him.

He spends most of his time
plundering the deserts,
lying in the bus stations.

He has celluloid tumbleweeds which play back
the alphabet which has shaped me

okay Submit to real love... yes.. but where Neo or elsewhere!!!!!

Submit To Love
The world is running
more after lust
it's time we raced towards love
no not sex
but love of mankind
where we can look after the common interests

Global warming
pollution
anti corruption
and basic minimum medication
improve our environment
live a clearer and cleaner life
enjoy outside mobile toilets
and
avoid heavy medical bills

DREAM OF ETERNITY

I saw an old gate today
made of wood on a stone wall
it sagged so badly it wouldn't sway;
deteriorated says it all.

The stone wall reclined toward eternity
some stones were tumbled to the ground
all mortar loosened which set them free
to fall with a dull muffled sound.

The iron pins and their old hinges
rusted into brown lumps of immobility
with rust stains painting the wall's fringes
looking like dried blood to me.

Calm and composed state

LESSONS

My life is richer from where I've walked,
the things I've seen, the words we've talked.
For my journey to the now
was formed by all of this somehow.

The view of mountains far away
gave to me my need to roam
and see new country every day
distant from my simple home.

The upward trails gave my legs strength
and fortitude to see things through
no matter the path's slope or length
I sought to gain the summit's view.
