Searching For Rainbows

Beneath the weight of darkened skies,
Where thunder rolls and daylight dies,
I'll wander through the storm's embrace,
A seeker bound by time and space.

The rain may lash, the winds may wail,
The earth may flood, the stars may pale,
Yet in the chaos, I'll proudly go,
To chase the arc, its healing glow.

The prism bends, the colors rise,
A bridge of hope across the skies.
For every tear the heavens send,
Promise blooms at rainbow's end.

Out in a the fields!

Chasing through
fields of alfalfa,
as a child your
nostrils will flare!

The moment you
open that country door,
that heavenly smell
fills the air.

A tree, with song birds
chirping and nesting.
Combine to compose
some kind of melody.

There would always be trouble,
that followed you,
but angels and guides,
would direct you.

Away from the ruins,
of despair.

After being scammed...

about six to many times
I uninstalled zangi and telegram
for the particular
reason (of course) sometimes
with the deliberate
intent choosing words,
wherefore each one
at the end of a statement rhymes
(yours truly - the writer arbitrarily
determines where that
petty coat junction occurs
within a sentence fragment,
describing green acres)
which break off point then primes
me able, eager,
willing and ready
to communicate unfortunately
impossible mission to convey

Way Up High

I would like to fly, fly, fly.

Removing myself from the unknown,
because of the cruel destruction shown.

For there I will be,
in a place filled with everlasting peace.

OBEISANCE

OBEISANCE

These whimpering fools just disgust me
Yet I still allow them to show obeisance
Do they believe there is a higher power
And yet always before me, they cower
I must try hard to hide my impatience
How much longer do I suffer indignity

One is whispering falsehoods in my ear
Another grasping hold of my forefinger
Soon I must command them to begone
And my response, I should think upon
A distaste that I feel continues to linger
On their skin, I smell the sweat of fear

Woolfen!

Something is,
watching you,
out in the woods
you see!

It's eyes are upon,
you now.
Just waiting to bite
and tare you down!

Run home quickly,
or you'll be it's snack.
Bolt the door,
with an iron bar.

You are it's prisoner,
it wants you for dinner.
So keep yourself,
locked up inside.

Your emotions are
frightening you.
You hope it will,
just cut loose!

The way we
perceive our mind
Is one of fear,
or of confidence.

Highway Sixty-One (by eddy styx)

Upon the Highway Sixty-One,
At witching hour the throng didst meet;
The blacken’d stone with flame was won,
Hell’s fire beneath their restless feet.

Yon roadway, stain’d by lunar gore,
A sickly Blood Moon’s baleful ray,
Did lend a dread unto the corps,
That gather’d there in dark array.

Whilst seraphs caper’d on a pin,
The fiends in riotous revel sway’d;
And should their courses reckless spin,
A broken wing might be betray’d.

Power of One

Abide by the few
Ignore the many
A mass of nobody’s
They are all ten a penny
All the same snowflake
Identical as clouds
All the same social noise
Thinking out loud

Faceless in the crowd
What do those eyes reflect
Nothing but pavements
Boredom and neglect
Switch off the small talk
Bullshit and banter
Sound of brain farts
All pretending to matter
