I spent the 2nd being broken
Stuffing down words
that could barely be spoken
The 1st was gone
Celebrations skewed
Promised shifted
Resolutions renewed
Is this the hype
We all look forward to?
Waterloo's an historic battlefield, c'est vrai,
Quite near to Brussels (or one of its alternative spellings
in the gorgeously flat land of the Belgians
and also where the sprouts come from, which are,
as well you know, an exciting cause of gas expelled per anum).
FARRRRPPP!
Communique Frozen...
Telephone lines covered in ice,
communications all frozen out.
People twittering, some not nice,
presidential hair lip starts to pout.
An election in the offing, poor show,
so many hours spent doting or voting.
Do we really need stupidity tied in a bow,
then five misspent years simply gloating.
These the candidates our very own,
nothing but the best in town or not.
Fretting, betting all deeds are sown,
goons to make sure they’re hot to trot.
Happy New year
it's twenty twenty
a year of forty four..
another decade of life
to bring things alive
another world to vibe..
it's not who you are
it's who you create
in a era never known..
many years of barbarianism
the darkness ruled
now light is winning..
a new way of thinking
there is war no more
peace to the earth..
love and compassion
found the one percent...
An idea pulses brightly and I try desperately
to catch it before it fades away
It's as though it is a shooting star
racing away over the horizon
Sometimes, a thought is one of many
like in a meteor shower and it follows the rest of them
across the sky and disappears into the void of forgetfulness
while you are still separating it from the herd
Where is my body?
Where has it gone?
I can’t sing the tune
Cuz I don’t know the song
What is the meaning?
Please, tell it to me
So I too can be strong
And learn things from thee
If you won’t let me in
How am I to grow?
There are many things yet
I still do not know
Words whispered to me
Through soft lips long ago
And now here I am

to fill old wine
in newer plastic bottles
as New Year is pushing forth
through the labyrinth of sorts
(you may say Time)
to emerge from its cocoon
and
when 2020 does finally arrive
treat it as a boon
another year to play
one yearer’s match
so soon

I want to go, somewhere;
I want to take a journey,
make a move,
to a place, a place deep,
important.
But where?
Where could this place be
that I must go?
That I must forgo all else to go; this place,
for what it's worth,
I think I must surely go.
But again, where could this place be?
Roast me on the charcoal
Bottom of your heart
Roll me in your pie and chew
As your meal yummies
Draw me and paste on the pages of your mind
Like poster and image
Paint me in the color of your blood
Leave me stained on the ground like a liquid black gold
Mine me with your steel heart of unforgiving
Peel out my skin for your white magic
Use my flesh for experiment
