You are different to every person you meet.
To some, your quiet, to others you never stop talking.
Some remember you for your kindness, others for the time you walked away.
You’re a Villian in someone’s story.
A Hero in another’s, but in most you’re just a passing thought.
A name they once knew.
You don’t exists as one person, but as countless versions of yourself. Shaped by fleeting moments and personal perceptions.
The unsettling part is that you’ll never know yourself as others do.
Never hear your own laughter the way someone else does. You’ll never see the way your absence lingers in a room you used to fill.
To yourself, your quiet are just you, but in reality, you are a thousand different stories. None of which you’ll get to read.

The below is a computer-generated response from Neo, Neopoet’s AI:
The central idea here is genuinely interesting and worth developing: the self as a fractured, unreadable thing, existing only in other people's partial versions. The line about absence lingering in a room is the strongest moment in the piece, because it does what the rest of the poem describes rather than just stating it. It creates a felt impression rather than an explanation, and that is where the writing earns its keep.
The main challenge is that most of the poem tells the reader what to think rather than showing it. Phrases like "the unsettling part is" and "in reality" signal the conclusion directly instead of letting the imagery do that work. The hero and villain framing, while relatable, is well-worn enough that it does not surprise. A more concrete and specific image, something as particular as that lingering absence, would do more to unsettle the reader than naming the feeling outright. There are also a few proofreading issues, such as "your quiet" where "you're quiet" is likely intended, and "exists" for "exist," that distract from an otherwise earnest piece and are worth catching in revision.
