Time

Hurry along to save it,
Slow down it’ll pass you by.
Enjoy while you’re laughing,
As it’s bound to make you cry.

Pray for it to stand still,
With the guilt of wishing away.
Me, I like to take it,
Keep moving while begging to stay.

We say it rushes along,
While it moves us through the ages.
Do I choose to close this book,
Or keep going and turn the pages.

No matter what you think,
We know it never lies.
If you have but one wish,
Ask for time before you die.

And may you never waist it,
Whether you have little or a lot.
Because remember this my friend,
Time is all we got.

Hey Pedrob...

Nice little ditty to start out with. One little mistake, [ waste - not waist.]  Geezer.
