Star Bound - A Tribute to Joshua Bond

Poets, they may come and go

While others are here to stay

And though some you’ll never know

The ones you meet…change your fate

Such were my travels when I was Deep Underground

The harder side of poetry was never the same

When I met a man from Portugal, Mr. Bond

With poetic skill and craft worthy of world fame

And for years the ideas and thoughts he conveyed

Gave me a new perspective when it comes to verse

His collection of works can delve into the soul

With a pragmatic approach to the universe

A philosopher, a free spirit, a romantic

He wrote with peace and balance more often than not

He had a love for nature, his muse, his garden

Joshua always wrote poems to ponder the thought

Poets, they may come and go

Some you meet just by luck or fate

Joshua Bond is now star bound

Destined to be among the greats

Rest in Peace

Hello My Friend,

I found this poem  to be a little bit difficult to read because of the lack of visual punctuation and the big spaces between each line. (this problem of spaces could be Neo Poet's fault, not sure...

But I was quite happy with the content, the emotions being expressed and the sincerity your words. You made it real and that is what really counts! Thanks for this, fondly, Cat
