a silent muse

I searched my pockets
for the words lost
somewhere between lint
and forgotten hopes

I searched the shores
watched the waves crash
loudly against the grains
as they pulled each vowel
into the open sea

I searched a sky
no longer filled with stars
just a moon imprinted
with a wordless face

Hi Mona

how strange that I should be reading a piece by you while you read one of mine. I don't think we have met but it is lovely to meet you.
These words have been rattling around in my mind for ages but tonight I finally sat and finished getting it down.

thank you for reading and I'm glad you liked it

Hello Juls

Nice to meet you also and no it is not strange it is the spirit working in the interactions as you read my piece and I read yours. I want to revisit this one again for there is a powerful message contained in it and of it.

Blessings of love
Ms Mona

Well put this poem 49ner

The draw of the sea, the draw of the moon, I have just experienced trying to get out of the sea up a beach of moving little stones the suck of the waves drawing me back into the water, I see each stone a vowel, a word, and they are dawn into the depths of the dark ocean where they are so difficult to read.

Well put this poem 49ner, yours Ann of Norway

Now your truly writing beatiful. your expressions are so clear in your acrobatic mastery of your words.
The fear is gone of your first days
I am so happy to have the chance to write these beautiful words, I can see the pain but also the hope of better days.

I'm starting to feel alot more comfortable around here.
You know, there has to be hope otherwise we wallow in a mire of depression.
