POEM WHICH TOOK SEVEN DECADES
My pockets
are holey
some feel in deep
and
kindness show
it makes me glow
many smile
then let me go
now I say
come along
at times
we love
often blow
what next
who knows...

We fall.
We fall.
We rise.
We bend.
We break.
We burn but we survive.
