Pirate

She could not stop questioning why I loved her.
How could I choose her? She used her scars as weapons,
cutting the offering into ribbons of doubt and hesitation,
never able to accept my assurances with her cutlass drawn.

Pirate

Hello, Michael,
This is strong, and a bit sad. On the defense while destroying relationships.
I like this very much.
Thank you,

Dear Michael,

perhaps someday, Lady Pain, will get past licking her wounds and put down her cutlass and be able to accept love and return it.
