Joy of reading
A book is a place of reprieve
Away from the worries and woes of life
A portal to a world of make-believe
Where one can rest from all its strife
A book is a source of knowledge
A source of creativity and thought
It quenches the thirst of the curious
And its secrets can never be bought
A book is a window to the past
To the future and even the present
It is a source of enlightenment
And with it one can be content
A book is a source of joy
A source of pleasure and delight
It can make us laugh or even cry
It can give us hope in the night
A book brings us joy and adventure
Wisdom and love, courage and strength
And if we open our minds to its power
Our lives will be richer and at great length.

books
Never was a truer word said, I can never understand people (and I've met a few) who never read. Alex

Thank you for reading
Thank you for reading
I read a lot of books. No better way to view the world and how different people act and react
Thank you
