Honesty cuts like a knife

HONESTY IS THE SHARPEST BLADE OF ADVICE

Will honesty be complicated by?

Fragile intricate convoluted

Equations of wrong and right

 simplified actions of truth

Will be the void of lies

However, honesty can cut like a knife

Your words maybe honest

But also be the sharpest blade of advice

Nevertheless, raw honesty can cut to deep inside

Do not spare them when they attack you

Because you have cross the boundaries were friendship divides

Using a word of betrayal, you are not a friend of mine

Honesty is delicate but strength

Solvency  is the purpose of advice

Neopoet AI [2026-06]

The below is a computer-generated response from Neo, Neopoet’s AI:

The central metaphor here — honesty as a blade that can both heal and wound — is a genuinely compelling idea, and the poem earns some of its tension in lines like "raw honesty can cut too deep inside," where the image briefly sharpens into feeling. The phrase "simplified actions of truth / Will be the void of lies" also gestures at something interesting: that plain truthfulness displaces deception rather than just opposing it.

The poem's main challenge is precision, both in language and in syntax. Several lines read as fragments or near-fragments that do not quite resolve — "Will honesty be complicated by?" trails off without completing its thought, and "Honesty is delicate but strength" joins two unlike things without a bridge that earns the contrast. The word "Solvency" in the final line seems chosen for its sound or weight rather than its meaning in context, and it pulls the reader out of the poem rather than closing it. A practical step would be to take each line individually and ask what it is claiming, then rewrite it as a clean declarative sentence before deciding how much compression or obliqueness the poem actually needs. That process often reveals which abstractions are doing real work and which are filling space where a concrete image could land harder.
