A grizzled grazed grin

A Grizzled Grazed
grin gradually
growing back
into that
Innocently insecure
soul. Who once
heedfully hemmed
his half hummed
hopes within
the wistfully
withering
waters of
wonderment .

Yeah...

sometimes, we regret the time spent in ignorance, but when we realize our innocence gone...
Your alliteration is first rate! Nicely done.

Thank you

I was inspired by the Harry Chapin song the same sad singer which painted an image of meeting a old friend seeing that they’re to say something and apologize but all you’re left with is silence.
