From the grave

Like a phoenix from the ashes
Phantoms in our lives
Rise for us
Tell us how and why
How two live a life
In a world unfair and unkind

Watch those who stumble and fall
Praying for answers
From an unseen god
No more apples from the tree
Knowledge traded

In an emotion
Blinded bye the night
The tunnel never ends
Hands held high in two emptiness
Fragments in our plight

Remember not two forget
Forget two two remember
At times it all feels the same
One answer is not the same
For all
One by one
In a group we stand alone

No way two dry the tears
When there are two many
Who pretend two hear
Masks like scars
Phantoms can you hear
When so few care
The poor feed the rich

Until blood runs dry
Red red wine
Fills the wrong cup of life
Expendable the carcasses
We're here for you
Great pretenders
Take all we have
In a world that's blue
Everyone will have two pay there toll

For most the wall is just two high
How and why
We know why
The rich are here two rule
Puppets restrained all
Thoughts refrained
Shackles and chains
Phantoms our only friends

your first line do you realize how many times that has been used
