Formidable one #1
She used to sing "Willow willow whalia"
to my mesmerised young being
A cold song, even cruel, yet
it carries withered trickling melodies all through my years
caressing, confusing,
and so much longing
"Limpit", she said, it felt like an in of sorts
to my little clinging body
I still yearn for an in
though her cactus facade is devastating
full of familiar tunes wallowing and plinking within
full - and hollow
Echoes are the only access
I hum

You are right of course
and thank you for your comments. I hope to become a better writer here. Glad you enjoyed it. I'm in pensive mode, I think.
