Embracing

Oh, May!

opening my eyes
pulling back my curtains
unlatching my door
stepping onto my porch
beholding this new day
and inhaling your glorious arrival!

Finding you here!

Here at last!

Embracing May...

May is usually my favorite month; not just because it's my birthday month, but actually in spite of it.
As discussed before, my birth month is not a lucky month for me, but the sheer joy of the [usually] nice weather. The weather being warm, plenty moist and relatively breezy, makes for the sudden blooming of the Earth. I liken this to finding a favorite person on your door step. The warmth of the sudden embrace, the feeling of joy,

"Finding you here!

I'm going to find time to sit outside for an hour or so today. ~ Geez.

Hello, Geezer,

I remember reading your thoughts about May before and recall it's filled with a mixture of events in your life.

I suppose it truly is my favorite month, but I can't put into words exactly why - it's so profound.  I just know how I feel when it's here, much like the welcome friend.

Thank you for reading!

Happy Birthday Month!

Well Done

Hi Lavender

You’ve captured that specific, breathless magic of swinging the doors open and finally feeling the world wake up.

There is both excitement and a sigh of relief when May comes around, but mostly a feeling of gratitude.

Embracing May in full

After reading, this rainy day in May has taken on new, lovelier strokes of spring. To turn towards positive energy and embrace both good and bad, to close the door and move on. Truly beautifully captured in just a few lines...
