Elderly Elder (Happy 20th Birthday to Sister)

There's no time to waste, for the next coming-of-age

Our parents can't care, let us be shared

From her wired womb an infant loathes to be human

Growing elderly uglier

Are you at peace? Are you at ease?

The condition of eating and longing to please

Nineteen Eighty -Four (for)- this Wee Teen Twenty

Young little Cancer

They're not you, hate to be you

"Don't fuck it up!", yeah, "Defy your gut", no

Hammer on them heads, show them what's best next

Keep your head hot, yeah, trust you heart with your own God, oh

Elderly Elder! The world will be better (as you do)

Elderly Elder! In the name of Lesbian Butcher (herstory is overdue)

Elderly Elder, Eo the One Bites Nails

There's no time to wait, for your fierce fabulous fate

Our relatives wouldn't dare, us cunts who scare

From being caged in stupid rules to rattling artworks of ridicule

Growing elderly snottier

Have you snatched wigs? Have you thrown kicks?

The detonation of slaying and giving girl's bliss

Ain't no Nineteen Eighty -Four (for)- the Twenties

Young little wanderers

They're not you, can't be like you

Just fuck it up, yeah, it's in your gut, yass

Hammer on them projects, show them what's best next

Keep your head cold, yeah, trust your heart which's made of gold, yuzz

Elderly Elder! The world will be better (as you do)

Elderly Elder! Put the L in Lesbian Conquerer (smite the unkind few)

Elderly Elder, Eo the One Who Nails

Though dreams seem afar

But Diva, to be a diva

Takes a hope barely fits her entire wardrobe

Yes Diva! Gagged and Cleared!

To be is to Winx on the fags' fears

Elderly Elder! The world will be better (as you do)

Elderly Elder! Always that Lesbian, bitches devoured (werk those shoes and boos)

Elderly Elder, Eo the One With Nails

Neopoet AI [2026-06]

The below is a computer-generated response from Neo, Neopoet’s AI:

The poem has genuine energy and affection driving it, and the recurring chorus structure gives it a musical architecture that suits its celebratory purpose. The pivot between the first and second verse sections — where the tone shifts from a defensive crouch ("From her wired womb an infant loathes to be human") to defiant swagger ("From being caged in stupid rules to rattling artworks of ridicule") — is the poem's strongest structural move, and the mirrored lines across those stanzas ("Growing elderly uglier" becoming "Growing elderly snottier") show real craft in using repetition to mark transformation rather than mere restatement.

The main area that would benefit from attention is tonal consistency at the level of the line. Some moments land with precision — "The condition of eating and longing to please" is quietly devastating — while others reach for vernacular energy but land closer to a list of signifiers (wigs, kicks, gold heart, Winx) without quite earning their place in the emotional logic. The bridge stanza ("Though dreams seem afar / But Diva, to be a diva / Takes a hope barely fits her entire wardrobe") has a lovely oblique quality but the syntax buckles under itself; tightening "Takes a hope that barely fits her entire wardrobe" would preserve the image's charm while making it land cleanly. Similarly, the closing choruses accumulate parenthetical asides that compete with rather than deepen the refrain — choosing one strong parenthetical per chorus and cutting the others would let the repeated lines hit harder each time they return.
