dream eternal
i dreamt that we were dead
our cold hands clasped for eternity
our empty eyes locked in a lovers gaze
our lips locked in an lasting kiss
our breath no longer warm in each other’s faces, only an empty echo carried away with the wind
our bodies slowly rotting side by side in the flowers
our love spreading into the earth below us, feeding the soil and fertilizing the fruit
i dreamt that we were dead together

Well Done
This is stunningly beautiful. It perfectly captures how true love transcends mortality, turning grief and decay into something that feeds the earth and lives on forever, regards Ray
