DERANGEMENT SYNDROME
Xi Jinping appeared slightly annoyed
by a meeting he'd rather avoid
a brain straining hump
a great pain in the rump
yeah, it's plain drumpf's a freudian 'rhoid
About This Poem
Last Few Words: Limericks should be punny. I've been trying to concentrate on that a little more lately. I think at least the title on this one fits the bill (and you know how expensive psychiatrists can be!) Having said that, if we didn't have them at all, nobody would be considered ...crazy?...hm...something to watch for in the future?Cheers!

What a witty sharp limerick! Sure it's been always hard for me to write a good one. :)
I thought the first line needs to be smoother. I'm sure you can figure it out if you read it aloud.

Hello Thomas (did I spell that right?)
I really like the title (please do not change it) it is perfect as is. I do know first hand the expense, If one "commits", LOL to a treatment plan. My first experience with one was at age fourteen. Norma took me to see a "shrink" because I stopped talking (to her) After speaking with him for forty-five minutes he proclaimed that I was smarter than average and perhaps She was at fault. and just maybe I had nothing to say to her(this he said, to her outrage, I heard it second hand when she related it to a friend on the phone) "He had the audacity to suggest that She make an appointment with him!" I guess that made it worth taking that Damned, Minnesota Multi Phaseic Personality Inventory.Over five hundred questions,asking the same questions,in many different ways! She was a nurse, at "Anoka State Hospital" where crazy was the name of the game! From what I heard, "shock treatment" was a normal way of "helping" patients cope! (She often threatened to take me there for a "treatment") She described this in great detail! Scare tactics to try to control me.
You are right, it is a big pain in the butt. I much admire how you describe it... your phrasing, excellent! the only thing you did not say clearly was, (how the inmates were running the asylums!) I shall absolutely recommend this poem to Steven for his reading pleasure!

Xi Jinping. I do not watch the news as it deepens my depression. Learning about his meeting with Trump. It was, to my understanding, two pigs vying for the position of "Head Hog!". Trump was sadly lacking.
The inmates are running the asylum! I think you have an excellent poem, here!
