I'm Scottish and proud of it. Of course I love poetry otherwise I wouldn't be on here. I love reading it and thinking about it and of course trying to create it once in a while. I don't consider myself to be a particularly talented poet and I'm sure that there are plenty of poets on here who are more talented than I am but I write honestly and from the heart so maybe I deserve a little credit for that at least?... Maybe not lol. I'm naturally drawn to anything which has a real sense of sadness and pathos and I guess my ultimate poetic ambition is to write poems which have a real sense, a true sense of sorrow and pathos about them.
