Insidious
The ones who talk in sugar-coated blades
those who hold emotions but never feel their weight
the people who vomit instead of speak
they feed on the gullible and the gullible pay with soul
I stole a sword from their arsenal
The hilt now worn
the blade chipped
I stare the beasts in the eye
They don't see me
Good
I hover this blade against their necks
Naivety speaks
crush the cockroach and they'll call you a hero
Wisdom answers
Read the rest of the poem Show less
why crush what you can set free
The masters move like water
because they've drowned
so many times
I am no god
Though how else does one survive
the terrain of unconscious beasts

About Me
I want to explore how far the words can go. And learn from other poets. So far the poems I find the most impactful haven’t been poems at all but sentences from Shakespeare work. Capturing the everything and the nothing in a sentence. So that’s the journey, a never ending one
