I feel it and it feels me.
It’s wonderfully terrible.
Mum and dad couldn’t come to school to fix this one,
Childhood drifted then
the Sundays, they called on me but not to play.
My innocence was blended and splashed on the youth club door.
You do know you’ll never get over this don’t you?
I didn’t know you were going to be my best friend,
I wish you could have asked me first.
