Solitude
I love solitude, to stay all alone,
To be with someone very well known.
I wonder if that's my curse or my luck,
In that binary forever I am stuck.
So I take my phone and put it away,
Not to be bothered in any way.
No chance for my views to be nudged,
Or my affairs and doings judged.
But sorrows and all my past regrets
Show up unwanted, against all my bets.
So senseless and so vengefully rude,
To mess with my happy solitude.
And I am confused — looks I am doomed
By the strange feeling that suddenly loomed.
Faced with a misery that doesn’t budge —
That worst and cruel, inevitable judge.
