Your contest came to me in the Epoch Times, to which I subscribe and receive weekly. I am living at Watercrest Assisted Living where we are trying to bring artistic light to our residents. I have written and want to contribute two Haiku chapters consisting of seven individual Haikus belonging to a certain theme, any of which you may choose for my submission to your contest. My interests and indeavors within my community are writing poetry and painting. I am 88 years old., firmly believe in the continuation of art (all forms) for as long as humanly possible.
