Eternal Love

I have my eternal love for you
And feel your love so cool like
A slice of red succulent watermelon
In the hot sands of my life here
And the thirst that parches the throat
Of an Arab on his golden camel
Of half closed eyes and hanging lip
Upon whom the journey of life
Is really a challenge.
And when he bites a cucumber in thirst
It circulates in all his veins and arteries
O really my heart is wet like that in love
And I have the same contentment
But only in a form of abstraction.

Even if we are miles apart, I believe
There is my love for a single human being
The masses will pass like stations
With brief stoppages in my life
Anyhow I have to bear the painful journey
It’s only transient here and the rest
Is waiting for me somewhere with eternity
With the blessings of my Creator.

I watch the people and their love
With their stories stuffed in my heart
Like a postman whose cycle is loaded
With letters and parcels and gifts
He delivers them all from door to door
But for him there is none.

There are many pearls of your
Remembrances in this young heart
When I am with locomotion on my limbs
And muscles that contract my movements
The days with you are beaded
On the string of my life like garland
My days with you is a symbol
For both of us in both of the worlds
But not for any kind of a lesson
You know what I am talking about?
O! You are never gone I know
Separation is not non-existence
At least for me and a soul I love
I have made the cages of books
You will be locked all years, all decades
For me and me and me always.

Dear Ayaz

Very beautifully written, Ayaz! Somtimes, with a long poem I lose interest before I reach the end but not with your poem. You kept my attention until the end. Very nicely done, Ayaz! Love-Faith ~I never say anything I don't mean nor do I say anything to be mean.~

Dear Ayaz

I agree with both JayCee and Faith. Brilliant write and with just a little revision as suggested, will make it fantastic. Xena Quote: Science is what you know; philosophy is what you don't know. - Bertrand Russell
