STONED FOR LOVE
A new flame. Molten words wax
a slow dripping.
Cold comfort to one still spluttering from the tearful storm coming in. Doubts.Smaller shadows loom, lingering lightbegins to dim, whispered promises haltering, forever falteringas black darkness sets in. "Let hewho is without sincaste the first stone"*Let he who has known only Loveprofess redemption alone -for it falls to him to slay
the one,who has no guilt to atone. BjR 16 July '10 *taken from the New Testament where a group of men were about to stone a woman, a well known custom at the time.
