STONED FOR LOVE

A  new  flame. Molten  words wax

a  slow dripping.

Cold comfort to one still spluttering from  the tearful storm coming in. Doubts.Smaller shadows loom, lingering lightbegins to dim, whispered  promises haltering, forever falteringas black darkness sets in.  "Let hewho is without sincaste the first stone"*Let he who has known only Loveprofess redemption alone -for it falls to him to slay

the one,who has no guilt to atone.  BjR  16 July '10 *taken from the New Testament where a group of men were about to stone a woman, a well known custom at the time.

Dear Bonni

You know I dont do this often but I was compeled to offer my version of this one so here it is had a minute and writing relaxes the mind thanks for the indulgence I hope you didnt mind too much An Old flame Melting words to wax found in the slow drip is cold comfort to one that is still spluttering from a tearful storm coming in. of these Doubts are smaller shadows born. and a Lingering light begins to dim. with whispered promises haltering, and forever faltering as the black darkness sets in. “Let he who is without sin caste the first stone”* Let he who has known Love profess redemption alone - for it fails him to slay the one who has no guilt to stone. my version love and big hugs JayCee x x x (Quote~~"It is by universal misunderstanding that all agree. Thank you both so much!

Lonnie, I think my defiance lies purely in the fact that I shan't be "correcting" or changing the format of the piece as I wrote it. I had concerns around whether it would be comprehensible as it stood, so I was glad to have Jay-Cee break it down for others. For you who have so captured it into your own imaginations - I thank most kindly! Boni

Ok Loved

I see your comment above - but if you look closely it relates to punctuation and new sentences - hence the need for Caps. Sorry - don't wish to change those either ;) Boni

Hi Loved!

Smiled when I read 'for safety measures' - my thinking is Let them shoot me! and leave it just the way it is! ;) Much appreciate all your efforts in commenting though! CHeers Boni
