Hyphen

posture
come near
we read from the same book

can you feel the page
smooth like a new hour

the words like fine nape hair
beneath the fingertips

I want you to know
how I love you

how all the attraction
when Im not pursuing
thoughts surrounds you
like drones to the queen

the street passes
im stationary
coursing through the
flight like thoughts

myriad transition
your brush on my
arm

is a forest delight
and I turn
and regret
the appetite

whetted
and suffice

for all the loves

there is never enough service for lips that soft crush the tender mercies

I don’t exactly know how,

I don't exactly know how, but I feel you have brushed against me and all my sisters with these hyphenated yet unabbreviated poems. ~Light, Anna "There is a kind of mysticism to writing." ~ Irvine Welsh
