I Have Chosen A Life

I have chosen a life
Far more than reasons to believe
What dissidence would call
A wandering bitterness
And emptiness.

I have said the words much
With mumblings and groans from the mouth
Of my salutation.
God have mercy on my soul
And lukewarm form.

Very Profound

Wow. This poem is really profound. I like your last line the best but all of your lines are very good. Nice work, Dennis. Love-Faith ~I never say anything I don't mean nor do I say anything to be mean.~

Another sparkling poetic

Another sparkling poetic jewel from your creative pen in this very finely penned and expressed poem Dennis. Quite an indepth write on an unusual choice of subject, which whets the readers appetitite from the very title and when read, the reader is fully satiated with the food for thought which you supply in the write itself. Nothing lukewarm in this write Dennis, you have painted your beautiful heart into it and there is noting lukewarm about your heart Dennis - it is always red hot with inspiration and wisdom. I have enjoyed reading this great poem so very much an I thank you for so kindly sharing it. Have a great and blessed day and enjoy!

Deep ... Dennis

I agree with Faith and Mari, I can't add much more. We choose to live as we do and that's that, so to speak. Wonderful. Xena Quote: Science is what you know; philosophy is what you don't know. - Bertrand Russell
