Hope in Hopelessness

Can someone tell me where to goTo mend a broken heart? For such a place is hard to findI know not where to start I've searched under explanationBut it simply wasn't foundI've called out to compassionBut it didn't make a sound I've looked behind my broken dreamsBut neither was it thereI've cried out to all reasonBut no one seemed to care I've prayed for understandingBut no one ever hearsI've searched for hope in hopelessnessTo wipe away my tears Can someone tell me where to goTo mend a broken heart?A wound that's ever growingHas torn my soul apart

Great poetry with much emphasis on feeling for sure. Let me see here I know of which you speak and offer you a fine response for sure. Hope gives to life a better day for the heart may skip a new way never give up on hope grab it on the outside bring it on the inside there's much to share and many who do care open your heart let it all in let it all out just start and begin your story is real your feelings instilled only helping to write of hope and light keep hope alive you will survive everytime you look to write your own book your story is told with hope, you will be bold. Love at ya guy Mona Magics xoxoxo I feel you in this one and share my thougths with you also. Please remember and never give up.

Hello

nice to meet you. Loneliness, heartbreak and broken dreams, a deadly trio. My favorite lines are: I’ve searched under explanation But it simply wasn’t found I’ve called out to compassion But it didn’t make a sound The ending verse is exceptional, too. Always, Cat

A prescription ...

Whiskurz...you did create the state of mind of a heartbroken soul very nicely in this write...it quizzed me with "Oh dear how does one deal with this ailment" and i could come up with this prescription.. - use the medium of poetry to rid of catharsis - take a long walk, out in the open and breathe fresh air - relate with nature and its seasons...a blurred vision will make way for hope - keep far away from self-pity, self-doubt, misery - open out to a friend or a loved one they can provide the balming effect - don't act in haste...be calm....TIME IS THE BEST HEALER... warmly...raj (sublime_ocean)...

I usually don't like poems with this style, but your words resonated with me so well. I have no suggestions, aside from maybe another stanza before the last one to better express sorrow and hopelessness. Great job.

very well written

If smile is precious, precious are tears that ooze from loving heart. If dew makes morning bright so do tears alight the night. It’s very sweet & delicate one, defining love with nude shade. Very well written take care
