The Snowflake - My Poem for Ann of Norway





Atop the highest mountain, a snowflake fell
it shined upon me, this story to tell
Never did it melt, a picture of grace
left many a smile, gracing my face

The love of this flurry so pure and white
transcended to me, on its long flurry flight
It reached my heart and sang  to my soul
crossing my path, my story enfolds

The snowflake that fell, that was you 
a woman of tenderness, tried and true
Your love of mankind I merely felt
the snowflake, like an angel, never to melt 

An artist, this person, that shares her love
that snowflake was you, that fell from above
You walk that mountain so tried and true
Please remember my snowflake, I dearly love you. 



  



This poem is written in honor of Ann of Norway, my Snow-lady friend
A blessing to know you and a friendship I'll always treasure forever

This is a lovely tribute. I'm sorry, I don't know her. I left a couple of comments on her posts before, but never heard back from her (a long time ago) Perhaps I will try again to get to know her. Oh the bats come out at night so shy

Ann of Norway Oh the bats come out at night so shy they fly about the sky I feel like them a flying in your words, but somehow wish to hide as it is so overwhelming, so rich, I smile tears and sense an elation at being able to engender such a tribute, my dear sweet magic lady of the south, how do I thank you, or all of you for your most wonderful comments-big big sigh- of love and satisfaction. I thank every one of you, Ann Oh my Cat, how remiss of me, I should have seen to it to thank you that was not good, I shall remedy that soon, Love to you, I love cats anyway, except when they bring me birds! Special thanks to you. I am not gong to give any stars, it deserves the whole mountain-side of most beautiful snow crystals instead.........************

Listening to some jazz tonite, my dad's friend Keith Scott from Florida check him out and my dad used to play with chilling out tonite. Check out his website.
