dreams into the juxtapositioning night

they met in between the juxtapositioned night
where dreams scatter like clouds being chased
by a vengeful god,
perhaps playful gods,
it would not have mattered

lovers hear otherworldly music the earth breathes
when the dawn never breaks
and the road roots long, entwined

"we're always going somewhere else", she said
and he had places to go that were never here,
they kissed hard
into their bittersweet memories
and shared their last goodbye..

Dear Anna

Brilliantly written, but I'm unclear as to it's meaning, perhaps you could explain it a little for me ... I'm interested to know. Xena Quote: Science is what you know; philosophy is what you don't know. - Bertrand Russell

Thank you for asking,

Thank you for asking, Rosina. It's a mental conversation I shared with my heart in the middle of the night about my relationship with things that will never be; in ways that should be, could be. Where do we go from here, and what do we take with us? I actually heard some strange far-off & otherworldly unrecognizable music while I was contemplating about Barry. I realized I had been trying to fit him into an understandable package though I remained adamant about myself. Are we stepping stones on the way somewhere else or do we take this journey together? It was a goodbye of sorts to my perception. Instead I shall endeavor to savor the mystery; we are, after all, gods of our own creation...we form, nurture and/or destroy relationships. Love and Light, Anna
