The Night Descends

As The Night Descends As the night draws the curtain closeAnd all of earth lays down it’s headThe moon and shadows strike a poseAs our little ones are tucked in bed Ethereal beings take to flightAs heavens’ curtain slowly fallsThey pass unseen through out the nightTo undertake their sacred calls To guard frail humans in their sleepBringing hope to weary soulsFrom house to house, they quickly leapTo carry out heavens’goals
