Origami

(Loving and letting go is similar
to the art of paper folding.)

Is it all over?

Was the time
Too short for
Moments
To give in?

If it should be
Done accordingly,

Like the creases
Of a paper toy,

Then let it be.

I have done
The last step
Of the fold.

Dear Dennis

I think this poem runs much deeper than surface appearances. My favorite lines are: Then let it be. I have done The last step Of the fold. Always, Cat

What pure genius to compare

What pure genius to compare the letting go of love with the wonderful craft of Origami - who would have thought of such a comparison but your ingenius self dear Dennis! Kudos on a brilliant write, so well expressed and so finely crafted. Beautifully honed into yet another splendid poetic jewel. Wonderful work Dennis. Thank you for so very kindly sharing.
