The Gloves Are Off
Suffocating slowly All you can do is watch As my face turns blue It’s as if you like Every moment of my pain You sit and watch closelyAs I gasp for air Causing me to sweat publicly Having my body shake Keeping me awake nightly Listen upI stand as a man Firm and ready Yea, the gloves are offNo more Mr. nice guyThis time I’m not cowering Or walking away Tonight I am packing my thingsI hope you miss me Because I can tell you I won’t Your yesterday’s entréeToday I’m on to bigger things I was weak at first This I will admit In time I acquired the willTo bid you farewell
