THREE LITTLE WORDS

"THREE LITTLE WORDS" Ann July 9th 2010.

As he said them,

swallows flew high,

the sun glinted, a glint in its eye,

feathers fluffed and pretty,

a little song of joy,

a dance;

the water lily's crown, a gem, a diadem,

we're two,

a moment,

one,

an arrow potent, penetrating

silk and satin,

velvet sheen,

sweet liquors fill my chalice,

wonderful,

Alice transformed,

related,

mated,

loved.

Golden winged,

swirled waters,

floating,

steered,

your oar now deep,

you stir,

a second...

time stands still, time stops.

Dear Anoushka of Norway...

Your poem is pure, sweet, enchantment... I think I'll go dance with my birds now! About the three little words... The ones that come to my heart and mind, as I read your poem are: I love you. This is sublime, lovely Anoushka... Raven A robin redbreast in a cage Puts all heaven in a rage. -William Blake

Oh I blush (As if I could, I can't!)

Ann of Norway Thank you my good Sir Geezer, your love is gratefully received and reciprocated. No I have not heard it said often, the Englishmen and even the Norwegians are careful about saying them, that makes them even more potent when they are uttered. The way of saying the same thing is most often clothed in other ways, other little traits of custom that speak those words for them- I only use them when I feel their meaning is true, love from is one thing, but I love you is something else. I am honoured and made pleased and happy that you should wish to say them to me, and my thanks come from my heart. Ann. Raven and Serene Jayne I thank too, you are in that same place! XXOO

Those words...

I understand, and am glad that you don't take them lightly, because I never say them that way. You have been a mentor as well as my Queen. I feel that we know each other well enough, that I might say them with with the meaning that you understand. Your grace is what drew me to you and I have never regretted being someone you could think of as a friend. Thank you, for being that kind of person to me. Your knight, Sir Gee
