NEON DREAMING

road tears at the soul
like windrash
rattles like tight tarp drum
flashs like tatoo ink
brilliant at the table
mingling with the labels
at the bar

poised on the sheet
headboard destiny
and a handfull of
lush swallow

pink toilets
pink tubs
cakes of cream
soap smelling
hard and cheap

sold like dollar condoms
in heavy metal display

go ahead and read
through the prophet
monger scrawl
rhymnes and ditties

and out on the floor
the dance hall
music throbs

its all stilletoes
and custom
stapled stitched
steroid and sated

the hot holiday for
pleasant pagentry
the knuckle grinding
tension
the ache that never
quite gets reached
but it may take a
treat

or trick

and the Neon sparkles
humping the night air
in garish celebration

keep it all close
trust few
always watch
the door

and have it ready on
the floor

was going to

include some crude language ditties rhymnes with.. and then instead of "humping" wanted to put in ".......ing" I can smell the bars the vomit piss and happy excitement the stale matresses pizza boxes porn mags in drawers and one sock gawd but life on the road was extreme and the good chain Motel/Hotel so perfect afraid to wipe my ass with the paper Nights like this when the chrome and headlights were greased with baked on bugs and insects from provincial tours backyard gravel roads that sounded like marbles in a dryer no matter how well they soundproofed the make model year spine buckled that pain killers only made a dent and a good night with a comfortable girl could mend pound out the foothills and badlands and kiss the flatlands while the sky turned mauve and pity black and moths thick as flies on flattened roadkill dancing on the Neon fall asleep dreaming still holding the wheel chair propped under the knob and one eye open

I think the language you

I think the language you chose works here. Grittiness, like ancient memories in black and white. Keep your eye on the door, who's coming in and how fast can I get out. raskin

Phew now I must sit down I am exhausted!!!!

Ann of Norway Oh Steven, Orgami-Esker you tore me from the place as I hesitated wondering where to go next, you took my arm and danced me with rhythms and sounds of words that tantalised my spirit into believing I had stepped over the edge of something and into a magic whirl-wind fling, I became captured and fascinated by all the details which reflected off your movements like nothing I had seen or heard before. Awesome you are sheer awesome, blasts of passionate poetry took me over completely this time. Just LISTEN to the sound of the tyres on the road in the : "road tears at the soul like windrash" "rattles like tight tarp drum" .....hear that? "flashs like tatoo ink".....see that? "mingling with the labels
at the bar".......laugh at that thought, and do the changing of partners dance in a similar manner to the lLas Vegas card player changing the places of his cards. "pink toilets
pink tubs
cakes of cream
 soap smelling
hard and cheap"........oh ladies and their PINKS. "sold like dollar condoms
in heavy metal display"..........OW WOW! "its all stilletoes
 and custom
 stapled stitched
steroid and sated"....slick this pot of lip slapping sssssss's. Just stilettos(?) "the hot holiday for
pleasant pagentry"................oh look at them all basking in the sun all dolled up! "the knuckle grinding
 tension
t he ache that never
 quite gets reached
but it may take a
treat or trick"....can't let on what I thought here....!!!! "and the Neon sparkles
humping the night air
in garish celebration".........B marvellous! Phew now I must sit down I am exhausted!!!! Love to you there in Canada my American Indian warrior dancer! From your friend Ann in the fir and pine woods of Norway.

Steven. Vive l'imagination, n'est pas mon ami?

Ann of Norway Yes we do yes we are yes we could, who knows maybe one day we shall!! I love that you understand me too, there are not so many with that particular vision it seems to me the more I meet others incredulous as to the interest in drain covers, tarmac cracks and broken rubbish, derelict houses and fallen down factories. My father, on visiting Canada said stop here I want to take a photo of that old barn, he was met with surprise but we have lots of new ones you could photograph said the driver of the car.....!!!!! We are enthused and excited by our own imaginations, we 'poeserer'( a lovely N. word for poetising something, putting poetry into it) into ordinary objects and things, and in so doing the world become a stage full of mysterious and fantastic actors that entertain us every bit as much as the conventional forms of entertainment. Vive l'imagination, n'est pas mon ami? I is that that we have in intensified amounts and with which we colour our environment and lives fully like the sound of a great thunder storm, or full voiced opera, or echo of a waterfall that sets the stones chatting and crashing about to make its own enthusiasm. Love you for that Steven, its so special to share such understanding, if one can give it as pompous a name as that. Ann **** and entertainment.
