poets must dance

who danced when the wind along the fence line was blind?
alone along the leaves
emptied  shadows
there my father said goodbye in the sunless silence
and poets must dance when their hands are small
I learned to find you there
as the stones of fathers become playful in the passing water
where the sun and rain have picked their way
through each yesterday
and sit beside you like love
on the falling green....

Barry, you know how I love

Barry, you know how I love this! It's so good, that I don't want it to end... I want to know more of this little boy. ~A "There is a kind of mysticism to writing." ~ Irvine Welsh
