declaration of love

oh little trembling bee
i am finely tuned in
(to your wavelength)
and turned on by
your swaying body

thus i announce my desire
little bee my heart racing
at your name’s mention
pale faced and weak in the
knees (when you’re near)

i love your sweet glances
with all the chances
we are taking while trying
to disguise our inclination
toward one another

oh my little honey bee
you seem to stare so curiously
you’re my soul’s happiness
and it’s torment supreme
oh little trembling bee—
hover over me

Beautiful Faith

I'm terrified of bees, wasps and blue-bottles, but it’s only the buzzing that gets me. I think with bumble bees when you look at them closely, they are pretty, furry and cute. So if I ignore my fear and read your lovely words, then I too would love a trembling little bumble bee to hover over me. PS. I noticed that this poem has been accidentally submitted three times. The site was acting a bit strange yesterday. You could delete the other two, to save confusion, via the edit. Thank You, Xena

Thank you as always for your feedback. The bee in this poem symbolizes a suitor/beloved one. Your comments reminded me of how terrified I used to be of bees. I've overcome it to a greater extent though. I tried to delete the extra copies of this but only one would delete. I'll try again. Thanks so much for your lovely comments. Love-Faith ~I never say anything I don't mean nor do I say anything to be mean.~

Hi Faith

I think you can only delete one a day. I'm not sure? I tried to delete two poems once too and only one would delete, so maybe you could try again in the next day or so. PS. Just noticed that you managed to delete them both. Xena Quote: Science is what you know; philosophy is what you don't know. - Bertrand Russell

I just love this delightful

I just love this delightful metaphoric write Faith. It is very nicely penned and with lovely imagery. It is very well expressed and flows as smooth as silk. It is a very tender write filled with romance and love for someone so special and I adore how you have a pet name for him! Beautiful! The poem flows warmly from your loving heart Faith and the last two lines are the icing on the poetic cake for me. They make this poem a truly resplendent poetic pen gem! Thank You so very much for sharing Faith. Blessings, Light & Peace..........
