Secure

She's not here
I'm OK
I've got my writing
I'm a busy ol' fool

She's got her thing
her life is full
I'm not there, but
she's cool

We sometimes pass
like ships at sea
signal, subtle
and silent

We seldom swerve
or, intrude
no regimen,
no compliance

She's not here
but, I'm OK
'cause she's OK
with it too

All is well
and, all is well
just knowing
she's in the next room

Not sure if you're talking about mother or sister but can identify with being secure enough in a relationship to not need to be in continual touch......scribbler
