PAIN

Pain that only you bear
would you ever care to share?
you say eternity
I take it you mean fraternity
and
let the pain
dissolve within

Your poetry is the life
that helps all face greater strife
and
I can surmise
pain’s just a ruse
a surprise
and
the demise
of a solitary existence
ah! your pain buried beneath
is life’s very essence…
