Food for Thought (Caution: Disturbing) Second in my Horror experiment.
Food for Thought
Awakened by a sharp pain
he struggles to sit up
finding he cannot
it is dark, absolute blackness
not even the remote pinprick
of blessed light
he struggles, but straps
bind him so securely
he can't even raise his head
There are soft scuttling sounds
and squeaks, the feel of
small furry creatures
brushing against his cheek
another sharp pain and he screams.
the scuttling recedes momentarily,
but all too soon, bravery returns
the squeaking resumes in volume
screaming bands of fire from
razor sharp teeth slashing,
cutting, scooping tortured flesh
a voice cracking from over extended
vocal cords reverberates through
the darkness, finally, subsiding into
the laughter of madness as he
falls over the precipice
their grizzly feast with unconcern…
