SUMMERS MINT

 " SUMMER'S MINT" Ann June 30th 2010.

Sun blazed rocks,

glints,

water, butterflies,

the breeze,

rustled trees,

hawks above leas,

summer's coined its mint,

how we love all these.

Raindrops dripping rhythms,

leaves,

cabbages and peas,

food for thought

while watching it,

succour for this earth.

Sudden thunder

Thor,

banging doors

electric arrows

charged,

strike down a tree,

burn

forests black.

Winds west, south,

east and north,

penetrating howls,

clatter tiles,

lift plastic rubbish

swirling flattened

squashed.

White as snow

virgin, bleak,

fly's and dances

oh so sweet

icy

cold as knives

winds tossed

all about.

Not frosty fingers

frozen,

glass designs,

surfaces glazed,

fish under

holes

crystals thin,

crisp.

Whispered

balmy gusts,

lusts languishing,

sandy hot beds,

potent smells,

warmed forever

memories,

summer's fires.

Your word magic...

has placed me under it's spell. I felt the coming of summer long before I saw the words, but they drew the summer lightning bolts of the gods along with them to puncuate the the purple-black skies, to make sure I did not miss the picture you have painted. Short, well placed words laid along side each other to roast in the sun, and be drenched in the rain. Pemmican for the winter table. ~ Your knight, Sir Gee

Takk alle sammen

Ann of Norway Thank you all, I am glad it filled you with the joy of Summer, especially those who are in midwinter instead, how strange and wonderful to be able to reflect the sensations of it to you, that I love. Love to you dear friends Ann.

Dear Ann

Beautiful, as always. Summer here in Glasow is a mixer of all seasons. One day hot, next so cold, but your lovely poems always brings me the best seasons. It's cold today, but now I feel warm with your words of summer. Thank you. Xena Quote: Science is what you know; philosophy is what you don't know. - Bertrand Russell

Wowo I just got some

Beautiful solar fairies around my deck outside and at night they light up all different colors and then I read your vision of the silver fairy. Wow that is something your right in tune and you know tonight when I go outside and all the solar lights come on I will think of you. I got some knomes and some more angels and windchimes that are solar too so it is looking really nice out there all the different colors. Just a seren site for sure and then my dad planting those four rose bushes and tending them with care now. There is a white rose bush I am waiting for one bloom to appear and guess what I will name that rose bush Annucia the white rose from Norway my snowflake in winter and my white rose bush in summer. I like that one. Like a snowflake in flight the rose shall bloom a great white light. Hmmm maybe a poem in that one too:) Love at you my dearest Snow Poet Mona xoxoxo

Like a snowflake in flight the rose shall bloom a great white li

Ann of Norway "Like a snowflake in flight the rose shall bloom a great white light." It is very strange how the white colour is the hottest and the coldest, of course what we look at is the colour that the object doesn't absorb, in the end we do not know what colour it is its like all things. So when my rose flowers I wish it to send to you your every wish dear Mona, if you are feeling cold and down, then it will send out warmth of it colour; and if you are feeling hot and bothered then it will cool your thoughts and give you the peace it is known to do, the peace of whiteness, white angels, feathers, purity, unconditioned love, and I send that to you as my thanks for calling your rose Annuccia.
