Hello Miss Homelessly

Hello Miss Homelessly

I saw you walk across the streets
of paradise,
you appeared so wonderful
so beautiful,
but distraught were your eyes,
where were you heading to
none could say
and
twas then perhaps
I crossed your way.

You were just loitering about
the streets
perhaps you had no place,
I came to your rescue
and
as upon my shoulder
you lay,
you let me play
but it was just  fun
all the way .

I asked you where you did stay
you smiled and then
wanted to walk away.

I held your hand and brought you home
a  home where you could stay,
but I could’t let you anyway
for I  too was as homeless
then you walked with another guy
and went away...

I looked stunned
at that passage all day,
hoping to see you return
but then I  too passed away…..

quite a melancholic

quite a melancholic read... a real sense of sadness about it not a desapiring sadness, rather, a gentle, soft sadness seems very real...a scenario i could easily visualise sensitive writing loved cheers p
