The Center Of Amusement

He was the guy
In the back of the room
The one that was the center
Of the cafeteria’s amusement

Not because of his
sense of humor
It was social anxiety
That made him funny
Yea, it was high school
How should the world know

He sat by himself every day
Eating his homemade lunch
Trying to scarf it down
So he can run to the
Computer lab

With the ladies he was lost
Thank God he found a pen
It never laughed at him
It said all he hid within

It’s been about seven years
And he has shocked the world
He now lets his poetry
Impact thousands of lives
You probably would like to know
Who is this man I speak about
That man is surprisingly me

Dear Paul

I love it. Really witty. I kinda guessed the end. Great stuff. Xena Quote: Science is what you know; philosophy is what you don't know. - Bertrand Russell

Great Poem, Paul

I really like it, Paul! Great poem! ~I never say anything I don't mean nor do I say anything to be mean.~
