Runaway Train
Life is like a runaway trainNever knowing where it may leadThe curves in the track can't slow us downFor there's no way to adjust the speed The twists and turns are enlighteningAnd some make a wonderful surpriseWhile others are sorrow and heartacheJust broken promises and lies Though we've never seen the conductorOur ticket's already been takenWe take our seats and close our eyesBut we never get used to the shakin' Though we have no sure destinationWe marvel at every turnThe scenery we see, is pure destinyAs we ponder the things that we learn This runaway train, that we call lifeRides on the tracks of timeAnd just when we think it will last foreverWe reach the end of the line
