The Surgeon (Caution: Disturbing Content)

The Surgeon

Feathery carresses across alabaster skin
rivulets of crimson slowly ooze forth
terrified eyes staring in stunned disbelief
her screams smothered by the gag as
gloves of ebony black with razor bladed tips
gently kiss her previously unmarred visage
eliciting silent screams with orbs tight closed
in a rictus of agony

How did she get here where evil reigns supreme
where the cold marble beneath her feet is stained
with the blood of sacrifices to the insanity
of a diseased mind rotting like putrid flesh?

Manacled hands beseach mercy from one unknowing
of the finer emotion, but only the lines he traces
in slow running rivulets to flow silently
down trembling thighs and legs to pool in silence
beneath feet still enclosed by stylish heels

Her tenderest secrets revealed to the slow blades
of the gloves as the cruel face smiles in an ecstacy
bordering on an unbelievably intense orgasm

Her shapely legs give way to weakness as she hangs
from the chains wrapped through the manacles
that allow him to watch every blink, each mounting
realization that no escape is possible.

The blood slowly drains from the veins he has opened
with surgical precision, as if each location is known,
he gives himself up wholly to the divine and powerful
tastes of warm life lapped greedily from her tortured body
as it slowly goes limp in death.

No more the streets and alleyways slashing with no finesse,
but the slow agony in uninterupted privacy to enjoy
for hours while he slakes the thist for pain and suffering.
The Surgeon smiles in pleasure as he contemplates who will be
next...

Eh it was ok, I mean if you

Eh it was ok, I mean if you like blood guts and pissing your pants! I checked my doors two Annie. I have to say that my acre in the dark with animals everywhere. My one street lamp in the driveway, we are to rural to have them on the highway. Well I got the perfect scenary for such stuff. Did I ever tell you of the times when I was younger Paw, and people came into my house. Happened more than once to me, My parents and to me at home, and after I moved away. This kinda crap happens. Lucky to be here today still shocked about it. Thank God I didn't meet any of your surgeon types. So I know you didn't, but If you were to start the story before the gore, it should be a hitchhiker. Don't ask me why... Anyways, intense great write, another suprise from you. You so full of suprises lately!! I like that! Julie D.D. Hello all, come and join us in live chat! Thanks daughter

The premise behind this is that one of the suppositions about Jack the Ripper is that he was a surgeon. I took that premise and extrapolated it into...What if he didn't quit killing, what if he just became more stealthy and found a place where he could do it at leisure after kidnapping someone... I wanted to see if I could write a really truly dark one. I guess I had a moderate success with it. Gives me the willies and I wrote it. Dear Rett

I write quite a bit of horror/dark poetry, myself, and I find yours to be of the highest quality. My favorite lines: As the blood slowly drains from the veins he has opened with surgical precision, as if each location is known, he gives himself up wholly to the devine and powerful tastes of warm life lapped greedily from her tortured body as the body goes limp in death. (I think you mean divine) always, eddy styx/Cat

Thanks so much Cat

I seldom dabble in dark/horror poetry, but wanted to see just how far I could take it as an experiment. As I was telling Julie, I took one supposition about Jack the Ripper being a surgeon and thought, what if he didn't quit or disappear, but went underground where he could do it without interruption. Thanks for the catch on divine. I corrected it. Much obliged! Respectfully, Rett: “Anyone who sacrifices liberty for security deserves neither.” Benjamin Franklin

See what you think of this Annie

Food for Thought Awakened by a sharp pain he struggles to sit up finding he cannot it is dark, absolute blackness not even the remote pinprick of blessed light he struggles, but straps bind him securely he cannot even raise his head There are soft scuttling sounds and squeaks, the feel of small furry creatures brushing against his cheek another sharp pain and he screams. the scuttling recedes momentarily, all too soon, bravery returns and the squeaking resumes in volume screaming bands of fire from razor sharp teeth slashing, cutting, scooping tortured flesh a voice cracking from over extended vocal cords reverberates through the darkness, finally, subsiding into the laughter of madness as he falls over the precipice The rats don't care, they continue their feast with unconcern... WoW Rett

If you haven't already posted this one in your comment to Annie, you should. On the subject of bites and scratches from rats, not the ones you’re talking about; my pet rat Zak bit me a couple of times when I first brought him home when he was 10 weeks old; he’s nine months old now. He still has sharp teeth, ask my laptop’s connection’s; but he doesn’t bite me anymore, however; he still has sharp claws that grace my legs if I don’t get enough time in the morning to put my leg-warmers on. He still has a bit of a problem knowing the difference between bare legs and protected ones, hence the leg warmers or leggings. I don't dare

Let my wife even see this one. She was attacked by wharf rats when she was a little girl and they terrify her. I've got to get back to some lighter stuff, this kind of thing gives me the screaming meemies. *L* Respectfully, Rett: “Anyone who sacrifices liberty for security deserves neither.” Benjamin Franklin
